Forte will be performing as a Hot Box Girl in Frank Loesser’s Guys and Dolls with Charlottesville Opera. Forte will also be covering the role of Adelaide. Guys and Dolls is a musical romantic comedy involving the unlikeliest of Manhattan pairings: a high-rolling gambler and a puritanical missionary, a showgirl dreaming of the straight-and-narrow and a crap game manager who is anything but.

Forte will be a chorus member of Puccini’s Tosca with Charlottesville Opera. A tragic story of passion and jealousy, it tells the story of the tempestuous opera singer Floria Tosca, as she fights to save her lover Cavaradossi from the sadistic police chief Scarpia.

Forte will be performing Ruth Bader Ginsburg in Derrick Wang’s Scalia/Ginsburg with the LSU Turner-Fischer Center for Opera. Hailed as “a dream come true” (Ruth Bader Ginsburg) Scalia/Ginsburg is a one-act operatic comedy by composer-librettist Derrick Wang about the unlikely friendship between U.S. Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Antonin Scalia — and the pivotal moment that would change the Supreme Court for years to come.

Forte will be performing as Mrs. Nordstrom in Sondheim’s A Little Night Music with the LSU Turner-Fischer Center for Opera. A Little Night Music is a romantic farce about the lives of several upper middle-class couples in early twentieth-century Sweden was suggested by Ingmar Bergman’s Smiles of a Summer Night (1955), an evening of sexual musical chairs on the longest night of the year.
